ABOUT lauren

Lauren began her publishing career at the Oxford English Dictionary, where she spent eight years as assistant to the Director of the American Reading Program. She wrote her first book in 2000 and has since authored or ghostwritten 22 more. In addition to writing and editing for corporate and academic clients, she is a member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors and Gotham Ghostwriters.

While her work spans a range of topics, Lauren specializes in business and higher education. Outside of writing, her interests include gardening, interior design,  stand-up paddleboarding, and Sting. Her favorite books include A Gentleman in MoscowH Is for HawkAhab’s Wife, and anything by David Sedaris, Kate Atkinson, Ann Patchett, and Louise Penny. She lives in Vermont.
